Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) invites an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our growing multispecialty practice in Idaho. The role focuses on comprehensive hand care, from exams and procedures to post‑op follow‑ups, with responsibilities including ordering diagnostics and leading patient treatment plans.

The candidate will work with 7 orthopedic surgeons and other specialists, participate in Level 2 trauma hand and general ortho call, and enjoy a supportive, multidisciplinary team in a

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board eligible/certified in orthopedic surgery.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic residency.
• Hand fellowship training strongly preferred.
• Board certification through ABOS or AOBOS or within 3 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage orthopedic hand patients with exams, procedures and post‑op care.
• Order, interpret, and apply labs/diagnostics; prescribe medications and develop plans.
• Perform pre-operative H&P, surgical interventions, and post-operative follow‑ups.
• Participate in Level 2 trauma hand and general orthopedic call 7 days per month.
