Job description

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) is seeking a full-time orthopedic surgeon to join the Musculoskeletal Service Line at CentraCare in St. Cloud, MN, currently including 10 fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons in various subspecialties.

The individual hired will be employed full-time in the University of Minnesota Physicians practice group.

Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in orthopedic surgery.
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Orthopedic Surgery residency and Hand Surgery fellowship-training program.
  • Licensed or able to obtain medical license and DEA in Minnesota; meet credentialing and privileges criteria.
  • The individual will be employed full-time in the University of Minnesota Physicians practice.
Responsibilities:
  • Patient care at CentraCare-- St. Cloud Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, in partnership with the Orthopedic Department at M Physicians.
  • Trauma call shared among orthopedic providers, approximately 1 in 11.
  • Practice supported by CentraCare and University of Minnesota Physicians, including access to academic activities, CME, and support staff.
