Job description

Orthopedic Foot/Ankle Surgeon

Temple, TX – Baylor Scott & White Health.

Responsibilities
  • Patient care
  • Resident and medical student education
  • Research
  • Administrative duties
  • Faculty appointment with the Baylor College of Medicine commensurate with experience
  • Multi‑specialty employed group of 19 fellowship‑trained orthopedic surgeons
  • Busy Level I Trauma Center with free‑standing McLane Children’s Hospital
  • Interest in general orthopedic trauma preferred
  • 4 resident per year Orthopedic Residency Program with a dedicated Foot/Ankle resident
  • Foot/Ankle APP support
  • Guaranteed salary with potential to transition to the survey‑based compensation plan after the first year

Qualifications
  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified (or actively pursuing board certification) in the specialty as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
