Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX, seeks a full‑time BE/BC fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our multi‑specialty team at the Level I Trauma Center.

The successful candidate will provide patient care, participate in resident and medical student education, engage in research, and assume administrative duties with a competitive guaranteed salary and relocation assistance. Faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Texas.
  • Board certification in your specialty or actively pursuing board certification as defined by the ABMS or BOS.

Responsibilities

  • Patient care, spine surgery, and complex orthopedic procedures.
  • Resident and medical student education involvement.
  • Engage in clinical research related to spine surgery.
  • Administrative duties as assigned by department leadership.

Education

Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to practice medicine in Texas
Board certified in your specialty or actively pursuing board certification as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full‑time BE/BC fellowship trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our Temple location.

Position Highlights
  • Patient care, resident and medical student education, research, and administrative duties
  • Faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine commensurate with experience
  • Multi‑specialty employed group of 19 fellowship‑trained orthopedic surgeons
  • Busy Level I Trauma Center with free‑standing McLane Children’s Hospital
  • EOS imaging support
  • 4 residents per year; Spine APP support
  • Guaranteed salary with potential to transition to the survey‑based compensation plan after the first year
