Job summary

OSS Health in Enola, PA is seeking a CRNA to provide perioperative anesthesia care for orthopedic procedures under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. You will perform pre-operative evaluations, administer anesthesia, monitor patient status, and ensure safe, effective anesthesia care throughout the perioperative period.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ongoing training, and adherence to standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a registered professional nurse.
• Certified or recertified by NBCRNA.
• ACLS and PALS certified.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, Orthopaedics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-anesthetic evaluations with documentation for anesthesia choice.
• Reviews patient condition prior to induction including labs and medications.
• Interviews and examines patients for planned anesthesia eligibility.
• Administers anesthesia and maintains ventilation and circulation.
• Performs intra-operative monitoring and completes anesthesia records.
• Accompanies patients to PACU with a complete report on anesthesia care.
