Job summary

Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patients, RNs and Physicians in clinic, under the Clinical Operations Manager. The role requires prep work, patient vitals, chart review, and assisting with injections, wound care, and procedures across multiple clinics.

Ideal candidates hold a Medical Assistant program graduate with CMA/NHA/RMA certification and at least one year in public contact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; CMA, NHA or RMA certification required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant program.
• 1 year public-facing work experience preferred; health care interest helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide all duties of a Medical Assistant.
• Prepare for clinical day 30 minutes before shift.
• Review MRI, X-ray, and lab results for incoming patients.
• Obtain vitals and update patient history.
• Assist with injections, wound care, cast care, and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling and patient flow to improve efficiency.
• Travel between clinics as required; occasional Saturday hours.
