Job summary

The ideal candidate has CST certification, completes BLS within 90 days, and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior OR experience is preferred and willingness to work in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred
• Current CST certification preferred
• BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Scrub during operative procedures and assist in sterile processing as needed
• Prepare and decontaminate instruments for processing
• Assist with room turnover and post-procedure cleaning and setup
