Intermountain Health in American Fork Specialty Clinic, Utah Valley Outpatient Center is seeking a Clinic Athletic Trainer to join our Hand & Wrist Surgery team. Under the direction of a Sports Medicine Physician, you will help evaluate and treat musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries in an outpatient setting.
You will work closely with surgeons, therapists, and caregivers to educate patients, coordinate care, and guide rehabilitation, performing casting, bracing, wound care, vitals, and
Formación
- Current license as an Athletic Trainer in state of practice.
- National athletic trainer certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- Experience in a variety of computer programs including data bases, word processing, and internet.
- Related working experience, preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Assesses patients to determine therapy modifications in consultation with physician.
- Develops rehabilitation programs addressing short and long term goals.
- Educates patients regarding rehabilitation, injuries, prognosis and risks.
- Coordinates care with other providers and completes documentation.
- Assist with procedures and concussion treatments.
