Intermountain Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to join the Hand & Wrist Surgery team in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, patient education, and rehabilitation guidance in collaboration with surgeons, therapists, and caregivers.

You will assist with developing rehabilitation plans, monitor progress, and participate in care coordination throughout the treatment journey in a patient-centered environment.

Formación

• Current license as an Athletic Trainer in state of practice.
• National athletic trainer certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Experience with a variety of computer programs including databases, word processing, and internet.
• Related working experience, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patients to determine therapy modifications in consultation with physician or other clinicians.
• Develops rehabilitation programs addressing short and long-term goals.
• Demonstrates and helps patients execute prescribed therapeutic exercises per physician protocols.
• Monitors patient responses to treatment.
• Educates patients regarding rehabilitation programs, health needs, injuries, prognosis, and risks.
• Coordinates care with other providers and completes documentation such as reports and intake forms.
• Cleans, maintains, and inspects equipment and reports maintenance needs.
• Engages in marketing and community educational programs and answers patient questions.
