The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their assigned territory. They build and maintain customer relations through communication and appointments, and must have expert knowledge of our product portfolio. Responsibilities include consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Meet and exceed sales objectives in the territory, working with surgeons and healthcare professionals.
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase results.
3. Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, changes, and educational programs.
4. Implement sales and marketing plans to position the organization competitively.
5. Cross-sell products and manage new product introductions.
6. Address problems at accounts.
7. Support compliance, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
8. Receive coaching and transfer knowledge to peers.
9. Maintain training in sales skills and product features.
10. Gather competitive data and stay current on industry trends.
11. Attend sales and professional meetings as required.
12. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
• Comfortable in open operating room environments.
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
• Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
• Prior sales experience is a plus.
