MedHQ in Setauket, NY seeks a Clinical Director of Nursing to lead all clinical operations at the ambulatory surgery center, with 24-hour accountability for patient care, quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, and performance.

You will work with physicians and staff to ensure safe, high-quality care, oversee OR, PAT, and PACU, develop a strong clinical culture, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York.
• 5+ years nursing leadership with budgeting & regulatory experience.
• 5–10 years orthopedic operating room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Knowledge of ambulatory surgery center regulations and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement and clinical operations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for all clinical operations.
• Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee OR, PAT, and PACU departments and processes.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate clinical staff.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, staffing, and operational performance.
