Job summary

Guthrie is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established Orthopedics team in Corning, NY, with coverage in Horseheads. The role blends clinic and OR duties across a high-volume joint program, collaborating closely with surgeons and staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current New York State NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one, with national certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and established patients, develop treatment plans, and manage pre- and post-operative care.
• Provide first-assist in the operating room as trained and privileged, with six-to-seven cases on OR days.
• Coordinate inpatient rounding and care across a six-APP rotation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, residents, APPs, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality orthopedic care.
