Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing musculoskeletal team in Lewiston, Maine. The role offers a mix of clinic, surgical first assist, and inpatient rounding, with opportunities to work across sports medicine, joints, trauma, and general orthopedics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active or eligible for Maine PA/NP license.
• Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Assist in orthopedic surgeries including joint replacement, fracture care, and sports procedures.
• Perform pre-op and post-op assessments.
• Order/interprete imaging and labs.
• Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, therapists, nursing, and ancillary teams.
