Job summary

Hillsdale Hospital’s Ortho Clinic seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy orthopedic team in Hillsdale, MI. The APP will work Monday through Friday, 8am–4:30pm, and provide comprehensive patient care in a surgical setting.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Nursing or related field, Michigan NP/FNP or PA license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. The role offers robust benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required, 3 years' experience preferred.
• Current Michigan NP, FNP or PA license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze histories, symptoms and tests to develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Recommend diagnostic or therapeutic interventions with safety and efficacy in mind.
• Order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and x-rays.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate for patients.
• Educate patients about prevention and self-management of illnesses.
• Assist in surgery and monitor patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records.
