Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Baccalaureate preferred.
• Current RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.
• Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—focused on individualized patient outcomes.
• Deliver patient-centered, culturally sensitive care and engage patients and families through effective communication.
• Coordinate care with team members, ensuring documentation of safe, quality care and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and governance to promote safety and quality standards.
• Support professional development by completing required training, mentoring fellow staff, and serving as a preceptor.
• Engage in evidence-based practice, contribute to protocol development, and ensure compliance with policies and accreditation standards.
• Utilize clinical resources effectively, plan across care continuum, and assist in developing care protocols to improve outcomes.
