Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Roswell, GA is seeking a registered nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting. You will perform the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, using evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care, participate in bedside rounds and education, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe, high-quality care through effective documentation and communication.
• Partner with patients and families via bedside reports, rounds, and education.
• Promote teamwork by practicing collaboratively, supporting performance improvement, and participating in shared governance.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled workforce and a positive work environment.
• Advance evidence-based practice, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies and safety standards.
• Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and quality improvement initiatives.
