Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeon and physician leader to guide the Orthopedic Trauma program at our Level II Trauma Center in the Denver metropolitan area.

The incoming Medical Director will partner with hospital and physician leadership to build the trauma capabilities, lead strategy and clinical quality, and drive growth while maintaining a busy clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with trauma focus.
• Fellowship-trained in orthopedic trauma surgery.
• 2–3 years of practice experience required.
• Ability to lead and develop an orthopaedic trauma program.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aurora's Orthopedic Trauma program through strategy and quality.
• Drive clinical growth, physician alignment, and service development.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to shape the trauma program.
• Partner with EMS, referring physicians and regional partners.

Job Summary:

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeon and physician leader to help lead and grow the Orthopedic Trauma program at our Level II Trauma Center in the Denver metropolitan area

• In addition to maintaining an active and busy clinical practice, this individual will lead Aurora's Ortho Trauma program through strategy, clinical quality, growth, physician alignment, and the future development of orthopedic trauma services at HCA HealthONE Aurora
• The incoming Ortho Trauma Medical Director will partner directly with hospital and physician leadership to build upon Aurora's trauma capabilities and further establish HCA HealthONE Aurora as a destination for complex orthopedic trauma care
• Collaborate closely with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, anesthesia, nursing, and other surgical specialties
• Strengthen relationships with EMS, referring physicians, and regional partners
