The MedStar Orthopaedic Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Traumatologist to join our expanding multi-specialty practice, which includes over 50 Orthopaedic Surgeons across the DC region. Our hospital is the largest academic Level 1 trauma center in Washington, D.C., and part of the MedStar Network, the largest health system in the Mid-Atlantic.
The compensation package is competitive, featuring an initial income guarantee, with opportunities for additional call pay, quality bonuses, and RVU incentives. The role involves working with medical students and residents, with eligibility for an academic appointment at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
Ideal candidates should have demonstrable core competencies in orthopaedic traumatology, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, proficiency in clinical documentation, an understanding of patient safety, and high reliability in patient care.
