Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon to join the Cooper Bone & Joint Institute at Cape Regional. This role offers opportunities to establish and grow a regional trauma practice within a leading academic health system.

The successful candidate will manage acute musculoskeletal injuries and fractures, collaborate with subspecialists, APPs, emergency medicine, and rehabilitation teams across the Cape Regional service area, and

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency.
Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive orthopaedic trauma and fracture care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Perform operative management of acute fractures and complex musculoskeletal injuries.
Participate in orthopaedic trauma call coverage.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care.
Support growth and development of orthopaedic trauma services throughout the Cape Regional market.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
Maintain a patient-centered approach focused on exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experience.
