The care of patients is the highest priority in the WellStar Health System. Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our collegial and busy orthopedic practice in Augusta, GA. Augusta Health, previously known as MCG, has recently joined Wellstar Health System, one of the most integrated health systems in Georgia. Augusta is a sought-after, family-friendly southern community just a couple of hours from Atlanta and the beach.

1. 12 orthopedic surgeons across various sub-specialties plus advanced practice providers.
2. Surgeons participate in general orthopedic and orthopedic trauma call in equal rotation with all group providers.
3. Surgery center, main office at hospital, and satellite office minutes away from hospital and main office. A new hospital is scheduled to open in 2026 in Evans, GA.
4. A small percentage of time is spent on academic requirements including lectures, research, teaching, and other involvement with the GME program, which includes 4 residents per year.
