Position Overview:

In partnership with the University of Arizona, Banner University Medical Group is now interviewing Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons to join the Clinical Faculty. This is an ideal opportunity for a BC/BE Orthopedic Traumatologist. The successful candidate will join the academically oriented, supportive, collegial group in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves teaching, providing medical care to an assigned patient population, and maintaining prompt and proper documentation. The candidate will share weekend and nighttime call responsibilities with 4 other trauma surgeons. Faculty appointment and status at the University of Arizona are provided, along with a tuition discount for the applicant and immediate family.

Position Details and Qualifications:

• MD or DO license in AZ upon start
• ABMS/ABOS BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
• Completion of an OTA or ACGME accredited orthopedic trauma fellowship
• 3+ years’ post-fellowship experience preferred; recent graduates welcome
• Support for inpatient services, minimal outpatient
• Potential leadership opportunity for the right candidate
