Dignity Health Medical Group – Phoenix invites an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join its Metro Phoenix academic team. You will care for critically injured patients, perform complex trauma surgeries, and participate in teaching with Creighton Medical School – Phoenix.

We offer a two-year salary guarantee, RVU-based compensation thereafter, a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, CME, tail coverage, relocation assistance, and loan repayment options.

Qualifications

• MD/DO board-certified with trauma fellowship training.
• Active or eligible Arizona medical license.
• ABMS board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of a trauma fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex orthopedic trauma cases in a 1:5 call schedule.
• Perform highly specialized orthopedic trauma surgeries in a dedicated OR with 24/7 staffing.
• Collaborate with APP call coverage and academic partners.
• Mentor medical students and contribute to trauma care research and protocols.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon at Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona, based in Metro Phoenix, you will help critically injured patients regain mobility and functionality through expert surgical intervention so they can achieve optimal recovery and a return to their active lives. This vital academic position places you at the forefront of trauma care, contributing to both patient well-being and medical advancement in Phoenix, AZ.

In this dynamic role, you will be the primary physician responsible for:

• Managing and treating complex orthopedic trauma cases as part of a 1:5 call schedule.
• You will perform highly specialized surgical procedures in a dedicated orthopedic trauma OR with 24/7 staffing,
• Collaborate with full APP call coverage.
• Mentor medical students as part of our academic affiliation with Creighton Medical School – Phoenix, and actively participate in advancing trauma care protocols and research.

Job Requirements

• MD/DOBoard Certification
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
• Acceptable completion of an ACGME accredited residency program with current ABMS board certification.
• Completion of a Trauma Fellowship.
• A passion for providing clinically excellent care
• Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
