Job summary

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington is recruiting a full-time physician assistant (PA) at the faculty rank of Teaching Associate to join our spine surgery service.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team across surgical, inpatient and outpatient settings, with a flexible start date in winter 2027 and 12-month service periods that may be renewed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Washington State Physician Assistant License.
• Graduate Degree from an accredited PA program. Nationally certified PA-C with DEA.
• Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopaedic care to patients in the surgical, inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
