Professional Summary

Adult Reconstructive Orthopaedic Surgeon position in Kearney, Nebraska. Responsible for diagnosing and treating adult joint reconstruction of the hip and knee.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within our specialized Joint Center Program and Orthopedic Center of Excellence.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient orthopedic procedures, including joint reconstruction surgeries.
• Manage postoperative care and coordinate rehabilitation protocols.
• Document all clinical findings and treatment plans in the electronic medical record.

Work Environment

• Join two MDs and four APPs in a collaborative practice setting.
• Clinic located adjacent to CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital with easy access to operating rooms and in‑clinic X‑ray.
• Supportive staff for inpatient rehab, pain management, and efficient OR scheduling.
• State‑of‑the‑art operating rooms and dedicated inpatient and outpatient spaces.
• Level II Trauma Center with 24/7 support and active trauma call rotation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to compassionate care.
