Job description

UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and experience in shoulder/elbow to join a fully established practice with a high-volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from over 70 primary care physicians and the hospital's emergency and trauma departments.

1. Join a full-service practice with 5 orthopedic surgeons, 9 Physician Assistants, and a non-surgical sports medicine physician.
2. Trauma call is 1:5, and practice call is 1:5.
3. In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system available.
4. Practice located in a newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex.
5. The hospital has 12 ORs; the Ambulatory Surgery Center has 4 ORs.
6. Team physicians for a local Division 1 University.
