TULANE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY, IS SEEKING A BOARD-CERTIFIED/BOARD-ELIGIBLE ORTHOPAEDIC FOOT & ANKLE SURGEON IN NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA. THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE JOINING AN OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC GROUP OF CLINICIAN-EDUCATORS. SURGICAL EXPERTISE, ALONG WITH A COMMITMENT TO TEACHING AND RESEARCH, ARE PARAMOUNT FOR THIS ROLE. THIS IS A CLINICAL TRACK POSITION, AND ACADEMIC RANK WILL BE DETERMINED, COMMENSURATE WITH THE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE CANDIDATE
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BOARD-CERTIFIED/BOARD-ELIGIBLE IN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY; ELIGIBLE FOR LICENSURE IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA, AS WELL AS LOUISIANA CDS AND DEA LICENSES
MINIMUM EDUCATION: DOCTORATE OF MEDICINE (M.D.); BOARD-CERTIFIED/BOARD-ELIGIBLE; ADVANCED FELLOWSHIP IN ORTHOPAEDIC FOOT & ANKLE SURGERY
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: SPORTS MEDICINE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; PRACTICE EXPERIENCE IN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY; PRIOR PRACTICE EXPERIENCE IN AN ACADEMIC SETTING
