Job description

Role: Orthopedic Surgeon

Location: Madison, WV

Duration: Full Time

Setting: Medical Center (Inpatient)

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and diagnostic testing
2. Diagnose and manage a variety of musculoskeletal conditions
3. Provide both non-surgical and surgical interventions, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
4. Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare team members
5. Educate patients and their families on treatment options and musculoskeletal health
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development

Qualifications

1. Active West Virginia medical license (MD or DO) or willing to apply
2. Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedics from the ABOS or AOA
3. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
4. Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
5. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
