Job description

This is a great opportunity for a spine surgeon who is interested in being entrepreneurial, participating in private practice, and having access to ancillary income sources as well as private real estate investment opportunities. North Colorado Spine & Orthopaedics is a private practice in Northern Colorado that is partnered with Nadora Healthcare and we are looking for a spine surgeon who has skill in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar surgical techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with patients and analyzing data to determine patient needs and treatment goals.
  • Examining patients to diagnose bone, joint, ligament, or other musculoskeletal problems, including diseases, or injuries.
  • Collaborating with other specialists, when necessary, to determine a course of treatment.
  • Recording patient care by maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including histories/ physicals, test results, and treatment recommendations.
  • Performing surgical procedures on cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
  • Referring patients to physical therapy or other conservative treatment providers.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • 4 to 7 years of internship and residency
  • Successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
  • Board Certification by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Valid and active medical license in the State of Colorado
  • Spinal Surgery fellowship is preferred.
