Job summary

The Hughston Clinic seeks a radiologic technologist to assist physicians and staff in producing high quality radiographs. You will help position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure safety and patient care standards are followed.

Responsibilities include instructing student technologists, managing requisitions and views, and maintaining equipment and supplies for daily operations at the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic program or equivalent military training.
• Completion of coursework required for licensure and certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by employer.
• Knowledge of radiographic technique and medical imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff with radiographs and patient care.
• Position patients and operate radiography equipment for required views.
• Follow procedures to ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Train and supervise student technologists as needed.
• Maintain and stock radiology supplies; report equipment issues.
