MusC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA) to deliver primary care, patient management, and critical care in collaboration with Orthopaedics. The role encompasses clinic, inpatient consults, and OR support for athletes and local programs.

The successful candidate will have PA licensure, BLS, and ideally 2 years’ orthopaedics experience, with 36 patient-facing hours weekly and DEA/DHEC license processes begun before start date.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and licensure.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred in Orthopaedics or other surgical specialty.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• DHEC and DEA license applications must be started prior to first day.
• Maintain a schedule of 36 total patient-facing hours per week.

Mansioni

• Take comprehensive histories and perform physical examinations.
• Assist with clinic, inpatient consults and OR proceedings.
• Provide medical care for athletes and active programs.
• Deliver sideline and event coverage for athletic competitions.
• Staff the Saturday morning urgent care clinic.
• Initiate referrals and consult with attending physician as required.
