About the Role

As an Orthopaedic Registrar Non-Training, you will provide orthopaedic assessment, treatment, and care of patients in the hospital. You will receive regular supervision as well as provide training to House Surgeons across the department.

About you

As an Orthopaedic Registrar Non-Training, you will:

  • Be PGY4 or higher, have had orthopaedic experience within the last 12 months, and be intending to apply to the NZOA Orthopaedic training programme.
  • Hold valid registration or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and organisation skills.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
