Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a Radiology Technologist to assist physicians with diagnostic imaging (x-ray, CT, MRI, mammography). You will prepare patients, position them for imaging, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Requirements include an Associate degree or RT program, ARRT certification with applicable state licensure, CPR certification, and strong customer service skills. 2+ years of medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or RT program completion required.
• Arrt certification and state licensure as applicable.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• 2+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office technologies.

Responsibilities

• Performs x-rays per orders and forwards images to radiologist.
• Maintains radiology equipment and adheres to safety standards.
• cleans, stocks, and sterilizes equipment; prepares patient rooms.
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and assists positioning.
• Completes administrative forms; labels, develops films; logs procedures.
• Enters information into the EMR; ensures accuracy.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to Practice Administrator.
• Supports clinical team: patient flow, EKGs, vitals, injectables.
• Assists in patient examination and education as needed.
• Complies with guidelines and completes trainings by deadlines.
