Job summary

DOCS Dental in Dayton, OH is seeking a part-time orthodontist to join a state-of-the-art private practice serving a unique community. You’ll have full clinical autonomy and the opportunity to work on military bases while delivering exceptional orthodontic care and building lasting patient relationships.

Requirements include DDS or DMD with Orthodontics Specialty, active license, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a commitment to compliance and patient education.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program with Orthodontics Specialty.
• Active, unrestricted State Dental License.
• Proficiency in essential orthodontic procedures.
• Ability to obtain a Real ID before starting.
• Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge and excellent organizational skills.
• Positive attitude with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Employment is contingent on successful completion of background check (criminal and malpractice), Urinalysis, applicable testing, vaccinations and physical exams.

• Efficiently manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities with ease.
• Warmly greet and welcome patients, making them feel comfortable and valued.
• Conduct examinations, using x-rays and diagnostic tools to determine treatment plans.
• Provide orthodontic treatment using fixed appliances, removable appliances, and aligners.
• Perform necessary adjustments to appliances and educate patients throughout their treatment.
• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a friendly, supportive experience.
