Job summary

The Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics at the rank of assistant professor in the tenure track. The starting base salary is $150,000, with potential supplemental income through the orthodontic faculty practice plan.

Responsibilities include staffing the resident and DMD clinics and didactic teaching, plus developing a research plan to reach national prominence within seven years.

Qualifications

• DMD/DDS or equivalent and eligibility for an Ohio dental license.
• Orthodontic residency training from a CODA-accredited program.
• Board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics (or in process).

Responsibilities

• Staff the resident and DMD clinic and didactic teaching for residents and dental students.
• Develop a focused research plan aiming for national prominence within 7 years; participation in the faculty practice is optional.
