Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland seeks a full-time faculty member in Orthodontics at the assistant professor rank. Base salary is $150,000 with potential for supplemental income through the orthodontic faculty practice.

Qualifications

• DMD/DDS or equivalent required.
• Eligibility for an Ohio dental license or Ohio Teaching license.
• Preferred: CODA-accredited orthodontic residency.
• Board certification or in process by AB Orthodontics.
• Demonstrated potential for future leadership and academic dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Staff the resident and DMD clinic and provide didactic teaching for residents and dental students.
• Develop a focused research plan aiming for national prominence within 7 years.
• Participation in the faculty practice is optional and may generate supplemental income.
• Support institutional missions in teaching, research, patient care and quality improvement.
