Ortho RDA in Manahawkin, NJ seeks an experienced Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a full-time role. The candidate will assist the orthodontist, prepare operatory and radiographs, and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 for new hires with current licensing, plus a commitment to staff health and safety with enhanced PPE and updated COVID-19 protocols. A positive, growth-focused team environment is emphasized.

Qualificações

• Must have a dental assistant certificate and RDA license as required by state regulations.
• Prior orthodontic experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take, develop and mount dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Fabricate temporary crowns in an amount of time that meets our efficiency standard
• All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor
