Job summary

Ortho RDA in Parlin, NJ is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team full-time. The position supports orthodontic procedures, chairs-side patient care, and dental record handling. Licensing requirements: Dental Assistant Certificate and RDA License; high school diploma; prior orthodontic experience preferred.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 for newly hired licensed assistants, PPE protocols, and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify.
• RDA License where state regulations specify.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Experience working in an Orthodontic Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Take, develop and mount dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.
