If you love to multitask, this is the perfect position for you! We are looking for someone to work alongside our dental assistants to clean and sterilize dental equipment and make retainers in our lab with a 3D printer. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to strict sterilization/disinfection protocols. While a RDA or someone with dental experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Printing 3D models and creating Essix retainers.
- Coordinating and tracking appliance orders between outside laboratories and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality and standards.
- Coordinating lab activities with the clinic and front desk.
- Performing lab equipment and machinery maintenance.
- Maintaining lab supply inventory.
- Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and PPE requirements.
- Processing dental instruments and patient care items through sterilization safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining sterilization equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
- Transporting dirty instruments to sterilization areas and setting up treatment rooms.
- Assisting with ordering clinical supplies.
- Providing customer support to patients, escorting them as needed.
- Performing record-taking protocols, including intraoral scans, x-rays, and photographs.
- Maintaining images for new and ready-for-deband patients.
- Cross-training in other roles as needed.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Registered Dental Assistant preferred
- Dental office experience preferred
- Radiology certification in Tennessee preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and computer work
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Hand dexterity for appliance construction
