Specialty Appliances, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member for our orthodontic lab. You will work with your hands to create custom-fit appliances, with on-the-job training provided. No prior experience required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, sitting most of the day, and delivering finished cases. Daily tasks emphasize precision, repetitive motions, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma, GED or being enrolled in school.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Positive attitude and good manual dexterity.
• Willingness to learn and show up reliably.
• Enjoys working with hands and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with your hands to make an orthodontic appliance that will improve someone’s quality of life.
• Use hand tools and/or small equipment.
• Sit for the majority of the day.
• Collect and deliver the cases you work on from/to the shelf.
• Perform steady hand and arm movement.
• Our wire benders – use pliers to bend wires to form to the positioning of teeth.
• Our finishers – polish stainless steel orthodontic appliances.
• Our laser welders – join all the pieces together using a machine that has scopes.
