CHOICE Healthcare Services in Goodyear, AZ seeks an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support care delivery by preparing rooms, patients, and instruments, and passing materials in compliance with Arizona standards.

You will assist the doctor in orthodontic procedures, take X-rays, IOs, perform prophylaxis, and educate patients on oral hygiene; maintain charts and sterilize instruments; ensure rooms are ready for treatment.

Competenze

• Certification in dental assisting or 3–6 months related training/experience.
• X-Ray certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• 8-hour Infection Control certification required.
• 2-hour Dental Practice Act certification/knowledge.

Mansioni

• Assist doctor in orthodontic procedures.
• Take X-rays.
• Take IOs (intraoral examinations).
• Assist in prophylaxis cleaning of teeth.
• Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart cavities and treatments with doctor.
• Sterilize instruments.
• Set up and breakdown treatment rooms.
• Chart patient treatment plans with doctor.
