Job Overview

We have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Fort Leavenworth, KS, serving Military Families and Veterans as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services. Our practice emphasizes building relationships and providing high-quality care in a family-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with Tie Bands, Placing Bonding, Impressions (if applicable), Itero Scanning, Invisalign, 6-month Smiles, Standard Braces
• Able to build rapport with patients and prepare them for dental procedures
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate dental software and equipment proficiently
• Set up and break down treatment areas, dispose of bio-hazards properly
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control procedures
• Complete clerical reporting daily/monthly

Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• X-Ray Certification
• Willing to obtain a Real ID prior to start
• CPR/BLS certification
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Expanded duty dental assistant preferred
