Job summary

DOCS Health invites a skilled Dental Assistant to join our Glendale orthodontic team. You will perform bonding, impressions, and Invisalign support, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires an active Dental Assistant license with DANB certification, X-ray and CPR/BLS credentials, and at least two years of orthodontic experience. A valid driver’s license is needed for on-site duties and travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Dental Assistant License / DANB certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic experience.
• X-Ray Certification is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Must be willing to obtain Real ID prior to starting.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Apply orthodontic techniques including tie bands, bonding, and standard braces.
• Perform impressions and utilize Itero scanning technology.
• Assist with Invisalign and 6-month Smiles procedures.
• Build rapport with patients and prepare them for dental work.
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication.
• Operate dental software and equipment proficiently.
• Set up and break down procedures, including proper disposal of biohazards.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to all infection control procedures.
• Complete daily and monthly clerical reporting.
