Job summary

Diamond Braces in South Plainfield, NJ is hiring a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant to join a fast-growing orthodontic team. Starting pay is $20.00+ per hour, with opportunities to advance and cross-train in digital imaging and lab support.

You’ll work alongside orthodontists to deliver exceptional patient care, take digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photos, and impressions, prepare rooms, and educate patients on oral hygiene. Training is provided and growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Dental Assistant (state requirements apply).
• Has at least one year of dental experience.
• Reliable with excellent attendance.
• Positive, coachable and eager to learn.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take digital X-rays, intraoral scans, photos, and impressions.
• Prepare treatment rooms and orthodontic instruments.
• Sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care.
• Document clinical notes accurately.
• Fabricate Essix retainers and assist with lab work.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
