Job summary

Ideal Dental in Round Rock, TX is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our clinical team throughout the orthodontic treatment process. You’ll be equipped with training and resources to grow your skills in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Active Registered Dental Assistant license, current CPR certification, and at least one year of orthodontic experience. Some travel within assigned areas may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year orthodontic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a welcoming environment.
• Assist orthodontist with procedures and chairside support.
• Untie and tie arch-wires, bend and place arches, fit bands.
• Take impressions and assist with bonding and x-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups with patients and families.
