Pediatric Dental Center of Avon is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team in Avon, CT. You will provide chairside support with four-handed dentistry, assist the orthodontist with braces, Invisalign, and retainers, and help educate patients on appliance care.

Responsibilities include patient greeting and chart review, meeting attendance, room preparation, sterilization protocols, and inventory management in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a family-oriented team.
• Ability to reliably commute to Avon, CT.

Responsabilidades

• Provide seamless chairside support to the orthodontist using four-handed dentistry.
• Greet, seat, and screen patients and relay concerns to the doctor.
• Attend daily morning meetings and review schedules to anticipate needs.
• Review patient charts and maintain accurate records.
• Set up procedure trays according to daily charts and treatments.
• Prepare rooms, ensuring instruments are clean and sterilized.
• Assist during procedures with braces, wires, Invisalign, and retainers.
• Educate patients on care and maintenance of appliances.
