Job summary

PARK ORTHODONTICS PC in New York seeks an experienced orthodontic assistant with at least 2 years of hands-on practice. You will handle records, intraoral scanning, wire changes, sterilization, bonding prep, band fitting, alginate impressions, and support admin duties.

The position offers $25 per hour plus depending on experience, 35 hours per week, vacation, medical benefits and a 401(k) after eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years orthodontic assistant experience.
• Experience with records and intraoral scanning.
• Proficient in wire changes and sterilization.
• Prepare materials and patient for bonding.
• Take alginate impressions and fit bands.
• Handle admin duties as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Take orthodontic records and ensure accuracy.
• Perform intraoral scanning and digitization of models.
• Assist with wire changes and appliance adjustments.
• Maintain sterilization standards and instrument processing.
• Prepare patients and materials for bonding procedures.
• Take impressions and fabricate study models if needed.
