Job summary

Hurley and Volk Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician III to deliver a positive clinical experience while complying with dental laws and policies under the supervision of an Orthodontist.

The role includes placing/removing appliances, bonding brackets, supervising patient flow, and managing remote monitoring. Strong communication, multitasking, and infection-control discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets.
• Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes.
• Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow.
• Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications.
• Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events.
• Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols.
