Smile-Doctors in Maplewood, MN, seeks an Orthodontic Clinician II to deliver a positive clinical experience under an orthodontist's supervision. You will place and remove appliances, manage records, and support patient flow to keep the schedule on track.

The role includes operating the remote monitoring dashboard, educating patients, sterilizing equipment, and participating in local marketing/community events. Prior orthodontic experience is preferred and state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year of orthodontic experience or six (6) months experience as a Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Assist with final checks on patients and patient flow.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Support local store marketing and community events.
