Job summary

CT Braces New Haven is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. You will assist in appliance placement/removal and help ensure a positive clinical experience for every patient.

Under supervision, you will review charts, document data, and engage in remote monitoring triage, patient education, and infection-control best practices while maintaining cordial relationships with patients and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification may be required by state board.
• Radiography certification if required by state board.
• CPR certification if required by state board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe notes for the doctor.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory per protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and procedures.
