Job summary

CT Braces New Haven is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. Under the direction of the Orthodontist, you will deliver a positive clinical experience while adhering to state dental regulations and company policies.

You will assist with appliances, review charts, perform lab procedures, and manage remote monitoring triage and patient messages. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, meticulous sterilization, and a team‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• CPR certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification may be required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard including triage of patient scans and direct patient messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
